Clutch alignment is a good idea, I would check the motor mounts too. The motors in these do twist under power. A little is normal, a lot means bad mounts. If you have to replace them go with the heavy duty ones from Aaen, HPD, or Hot Seat. I had A Cyclone that would do this under heavy throttle.

Ryan...Cant believe the clutch is out of whack or you'd definitly feel it..You cant eyeball it. The 1/8 inch probably isnt when the belt rides up the sheave...Get a manual Ryan and ask the people here about stuff. They are knowledgeable.....RIDE ON

Usually only the front cover and gasket need to be replaced. Unless you can find a dealer to give you a discount, $84.99 is the price for the front cover, which is what you should be able to get it at your local dealer without having to pay shipping. The heat treatment has been tried many times to no avail, and you take a chance of making holes that let water in the clutch housing.
I highly doubt there is anything wrong with your clutch, except maybe some mis-alignment.
