Whatever kit you get MUST match the pipe. So if you go with an HPD pipe then go with an HPD clutch kit. They only work together to get the most performance.

I just put the HPD trail pipe and standard clutch kit on my sons 250. We finally got to do some riding Saturday. I'm really impressed with the mods on both quads. But I think the difference it made on the 250 is what suprised me the most. I can wheelie it with ease now. And the take off is awesome. Stock it scared me that my son would not make it up some of the hills we climb. By the time he got to the top the 250 was really working to make it. Now on the same hills he can gain speed all the way to the top. Don't buy anything until you talk to Rick Ritter. He won't steer you wrong.

If you want even better performance with almost instant throttle response and harder pull then change the carb to a flatside. Keihin being best and mikuni next. The stock roundslide is not very responsive. The carb will make a night and day difference.
