400 starter

Default 400 starter

I got mine off without pulling the clutch cover.Has anyone put one on with out takeing the clutch covers off.It looks like a hard job with out doing it.Any input would be nice.

Nope this my first time at pulling the stater on my 400.

OK, I thought you had told me you hoisted your wheeler up in the air in the front from a tree to get to it. Must have been someone else I guess LOL. I just stand them up on the back and get right in there to it.

Default 400 starter

I have done that for othe things and will do it this time but it is close quarters between the inner clutch cove and the hole where the top bolt goes.
