Default Help: Scram 400 coolant leak @ cylinder elbow

I have a 2000 Scrambler 400 and coolant has begun leaking at the junction of the pipe elbow and the cylinder (not the cylinder head). I don’t have a repair manual yet so my question is what do I do? Is the elbow threaded? Do I just need to add some Teflon tape or sealer material? I see what looks like alignment tabs; do those mean anything? Also what is the procedure to refill coolant and burp the system? Your help is appreciated.

I am confident the leak is at the elbow and the cylinder and not the elbow and the hose / clamp.

That fitting is a friction fit - there are no threads. Sometimes tolerances are not what they are supposed to be, therefore the leaking. I have, in the past, pulled the fitting out, cleaned both the surfaces, and applied a light coat of JB Weld to the fitting before tapping back into cylinder (watch the alignment indicators). Allow the JB Weld to set before filling the cooling system. Your owners manual should have the coolant filling proceedure.
