Default Backshift problem?? Or not.

I am having a rough time getting all the bugs worked out of my quad since I had my motor redone due to a leaking water seal causing my counterbalancer to lock up. Anyhow, since then my quad has been exhibiting all kinds of annoying little problems. I'm down to the last one now and was wondering what you guys think. When at wide open throttle it runs great! Here comes the BUT when you get back on it it seems to have fallen out of the powerband and it takes a sec or two to get going again. A real pain when trail riding. It has power charateristics of a banshee. On or Off. I have put on a Team roller clutch thinking it was due to backshift issues but still am having the same problem. I got it from HPD and told them what mods I had and they sent the clutch set up for my mods. Any ideas?

Sounds like a pipe issue,or even a too high of stall on the primary. It could be in the secondary. What is it set on ,2&2?That is what I run mine on.Don't have a roller in it but I did have one in another bike and I could not for the life of me get it to work.

I don't think that it has a spring setting like the stocker does. Not sure though. I'm running what HPD recommends.
