mine used to do the same thing when it was cold outside untill the units were warmed up a little. ever since going to amsoil atf i haven't had a problem.

oh yeah, fresh fluid is always a bonus

About a year ago my cousin was riding his 500 and the right side kicked in when it wasn't in 4 wheel drive. He was doing about 40 and hit a culvert. Completely totalled the bike, but thankfully he wasn't hurt badly. Never could figure out what it was, but polaris basically put the engine on a new frame after some legal matters. Look out and watch where you ride it.
