MIGHT HAVE SMOKED MY BELT
called the dealership and they said I've burnt some of it off. Yeah I prob. held it there for 5-10 seconds not realizing I was burning it . BUT do you guys think I should go with an aftermarket belt or the polaris one? I was thinking aftermarket so I wont have this problem again...

Get a polaris replacement belt. You do not need an aftermarket kevlar belt unless you are running some serious horsepower through the CVT, which you are not. All a kevlar belt will do for you is wear a groove in the clutches before it slips. Not a good isea. I would rather replace a $40 belt than 2 $350 clutches

Thanks for the advice BBS....next time I'll know what to look for before I burn it. That's the only thing I dont like about my scrammy is the belt drive....yet I love the fact that it's automatic. Do the belts burn relatively easy....it seems like mine did

If your in tight situations like you were, never ease on the throttle, this can cause slipping. Give the throttle a punch to engage the clutches quickly and with authority this way it is much less likely to slip. These words come from experience.

Just tell whoever is in front of you what you are doing so they don't think you're being a "go faster" type.
