BEST REAR TIRES FOR PREDATOR

WHAT'S THE BEST REAR TIRES FOR PREDATOR, FOR HOOKUP? FOR DRAGGING AND TRAILS FROM HARD TO MUD , AND SOME MX. THESE MAXXIS RAZORS JUST SPIN. THINKING OF ITP- HOLESHOT XCR, KENDA KLAWS, PURSPORT- BANDITS, OR MAXXIS RAZZOR 2'S. WILL PROBABLY JUST LEAVE THE FRONTS FOR NOW.

I have had good luck with the holeshots on my banshee and I have heard that the Kenda claws work pretty good also on the Predator. I am in the same boat right now I am trying to decide between the two. I will probally go with the Holeshots because they worked well on the Banshee which is also traction limited. ??????

One word of caution about holeshots, espsecialy the MXR. They wear out very fast. I've wore out a set of MXR's in 2 days of riding at a track that had medium to hard pack conditions last summer. They were brand new and by the end of the weekend they were completely bald. After that I switched to razor mx's and I ran the last half of the season on the same set.

That is surely true about the Holeshots they are very soft but if pure traction is what you are looking for that would do it. The older ones were not as soft and seemed to last longer. I am still torn??????? I think the Klaws are less expensive aren't they?

I've seen the razr 2's do good things for the predator...but I still liked the klaws much much better. It will actually enable you to pull wheelies easier. I put them on for one race and was for a change of pace, actually fighting the front end down on a sandy uphill...the razors would just spin and I would have to lean back for traction! The kenda's hook much harder than the razrs. And if you run 5lbs. of air in them, the pred slides a lot less!! That was all in the hard traction direction...flip them half around for muddy conditions and hold on!!
