Default Clutch Kit???

This may be a dumb question, but what exactly is a clutch kit, and what does it do? What are the advantages to having one? Thanx

Default Clutch Kit???

It will raise your engagement rpm... So when you hit the throttle it will accelerate like mad... The engine will be making more power when the clutch engages... they help a lot my scrambler is a completely different machine with the clutch kit...

It is especially important to have a clutch kit (or modify the clutch) when you change the powerband of an engine due to exhaust or other engine mods. This is even more important with 2 strokes due the larger change in powerband. The mods cant work to their full potential if the clutch cant keep the engine in its peak powerband. That is also why it is best to get a clutchkit from the same maker of the pipe, for that fact that they are matched together
