A socket got stuck up against my flywheel and one of the wires broke can it be mended back together with solder? please help

 

Did you break a wire - or did you break a winding??

Either way - you can try soldering it back together - you are not loosing anything by trying.

If it is a broken winding, you can get the stator rewound for about 1/2 price of a new one - search the internet for stator repair or stator rewinding.
