Default Suggestions on how to get "LESS MUDDY!"

BoHunter,
I know just how you feel. I bought a 04.5 SP700 EFI and I couldn't ride across my horse pasture without getting covered with mud. I bought the Polaris mudskirts, they helped alot. I now had mud only thrown half way up the rear fenders. I then put on car mud flaps on the bottom of the front mudskirts and now I can go across the field or on a trail ride and stay mud free.

The Pure Polaris product number is: Front, 2872316 Rear, 2872317 Price: $139.98

Hope this helps you as much as it has me.

The 2004 sportsmans have the extended fenders that cover the wheels better than the 2003s. I'll bet you could buy the 04 flairs and install them on your 03. I have a o3 700 and it seems like the front tires are the ones that need more mud protection.

I run a Scrambler with Gators on the rear, and when im finished at the end of the day, my jeans and sweatshirt are as clean as when I put them on. My secret?? I wear chest waders and an oil skin coat. Let the mud fly where it may!

Go here, http://www.purepolaris.com/Detail.as...arisPGACatalog) These mud skirts fit Gen III & IV but I'm sure Polaris makes one for your quad too. I have these on my 01 500 and they work great. Polaris also sells "molded footwell splash guards" that extends the floorboards out the fenders too, that's next on my list.

TradedHorses, if you go through the pasture and only get muddy, consider yourself lucky.
