$2500 is a great deal. Most would go for around $3500-$4000 around here

Sounds real good to me also, especially for this area.

Wow that sounds like a Great deal, did you get a title and bill of sale to make sure it is not stolen? A buddy of mine bought a Honda 250 3-wheeler 6-7years back for a great deal, DNR rangers caught him in a protected stream, ran the numbers and turns out it was stolen. They took his bike away, but he later showed the bill of sale (no title) so he did not get convicted of anything, but they sure made us all understand the need to get the title and not just a bill of sale! Bike went back to the insurance company that paid the owner a few years earlier.

Title don't mean nothing even if its stolen....my wife is still paying on a jetski that was confiscated from her, and she had a loan on it, bill of sale, and a title........legally it was owned by the insurance company

In Missouri, title means everthing!

Insurance will not payout until they get the title which they record with the state as Branded No further titles can ever be issued except by the insurance company as they lift the Brand All titles after that will show PRIOR SALVAGE. Not that any of these details matter.

If the seller has the title in his name and the bike in his possession, it will not burn you.
