Default ac 650 or 700efi?

Ok! Honestly which machine the ac 650 or the 700 efi? I am looking for reliability and durability here. I have been in both chat rooms and am having a hard time in making my decision. I know people are very brand loyal but this is going to be my first atv, and I want the best. I notice on both the Polaris and Artic Cat websites they don't compare each other's machines. Any opinions?

Ok, if all else equal, which people in polaris will give 700 highlights, and people in AC will give 650 highlights, then look at the benifits of the efi., and the time that Polaris' Variable trans. has been used, and how long the IRS has also been around. They both look good and have great features, however I like the advantage of efi.

I have 3 Pol now and the oldest one is a 94 and no problems. If you take care of a machine it will take care of you. Polaris has always come out with the stuff first (automatic trans, EFI, Independent rear, Disk brakes, 700cc) Polaris knows what the public needs and wants even thou every one else thought they were stupid for doing it and NOW every one has one of these fetchers. I don’t think Polaris is the only one out there but they are my preferred machines. Go with what you like you only live once.

I had a 03 AC500MRP for about 6 months and was fairly pleased with it but wanted some more power so I got a 03 SP 600 and i love it ..I think it is built better as far as suspention goes and I found the AC is just to tall to much ground clearence.. I have a farm and for those tight turns when you are chaseing cattle the SP600 is 400 percent better.that said I think they will both be reliable..my 2 cents

Both are excellent machines. The EFI is a big advantage in cold weather but either machine you will like.
