Stuck riding the honda...
#11
For the record, ( and the honda owner's in the forum information ), I bought the honda first for use at the hunting camp. I was also just getting back into the ATV scene and bought the honda as a PURE UTILITY QUAD.
The honda is a good, basic work horse, but even with a Supertrapp pipe, K&N filter and a Dynojet Kit, it still ran like it was chained to a tree and steered like a piano... I wanted something fun to ride during the off season at the camp.
I chose the Scrambler because it was less expensive ( Left more money for modifications ) and it HAD REVERSE... A 400 EX is USELESS IN THE WOODS - IT HAS NO REVERSE, AT LEAST YAMAHA WAS INTELLEGENT ENOUGH TO PUT REVERSE ON THE RAPTOR.
Besides I like the 400cc two-stroke engine and the long travel suspension.
The cylinder is at the machine shop being bored 0.040" over for the Wiseco piston. Then it gets shipped to RCR for porting and head mods. When it gets back together the only tears will be from the dust of all the honda owners following me...
