Default 700 choke?

I have just about madeup my mind to buy a 700 Mossy Oak over the 500 Mossy Oak. My question is how much of a problem is the longer warm up period. I test drove both and I did notice the 700 took longer to warm up. Living in the South, I don't face the extreme temperatures some of you guys in the North do. Is it a big problem, thanks in advance for your ideas.
The 500 would be adaquate for my needs, but for only $500.00 I can buy the 700.

We have a 700 and it is cold blooded, but nothing too inconvienent. Just like my pred, you have to let it warm up a little before you can get on and beat it. It has always started in the cold, but like I said, it doesn't want to go right away. The choke on the 700 is really steep, and if you pull it out too much you can foul a plug, or if you try to drive with the choke on it can foul too. I would get it, once you get that sucker broke it, you wont regret it. I think there is a fix for the cold starting too!?!?!?

Lots of friends have the 700,... we ride often in below 0 weather,... justr start it and idle for a while before riding,... it's never been a prob or a real delay for any of us.

On my 02 700 I found that starting with no choke is the way to go. I simply get it to fire and then slightly pull the choke out. As for warm up, I give it five minutes with as little choke as I can. Never had a problem, even at way below zero.
