I am looking for a trail quad and also a possible cross country. I want to no which is best all around quad.

 

best all around will probably be the pred... it is more comfortable than the 450... but not as good on the track....
and its better than a raptor on the track... but the raptor is better for the trails..

 

hozed has covered it pretty well. the only thing the raptor really has on the other two is reverse and more torque. Any of the three would be great machines. The most important thing is how you feel on the bike. Ask the dealer to ride them and check the local riding areas. Comfort is a huge factor.

 

remember yamaha is better "plain and simple" LMAO kids these days cant make up there mind...

 

Yeah I asked my local dealer if he would let me ride either the rap or yfz and he said not until u buy it what kind of BS is that

trust me they arent worried about u wrecking it. what dealers dont want is someone to crash and file a lawsuit. its the lawsuit is why they wont let u. some dealers will. but not very many.

 

i think dealers should have a contract or something saying that if u damage the quad or u are hurt you will not sue. I think that would be good and i think dealer would sell more quads all at the same time

 

They dont have contracts like that because there are too many ways around that legally. I have 2 local dealers that let me ride their machines. Between the 2 of them they sell suzuki, polaris, honda, and yamaha. They are great people.
