At the moment I have talked to HPD. THey are great people. He really knows his stuff. I bought a o-ringed gold race chain, tensioner, motor mounts, and a hardened front sprocket. He instructed me to take off my rear clutch and look for the plastic tabs. Someone else on this thread also said for me to do this. I have yet to so. After inspection I will either buy new plastic tabs, or get the aluminum ones for replacement. He also to me to look at the little arms or weights in the front clutch to see if they are worn at all. After this stuff is fixed. I will then look into a pipe, jet kit, clutch kit, maybe reeds. I am 90% sure I will be going with HPD for this. They were so helpful and actually listened to me and worked with me. Even though I know very little about this hobby. They have great support. I would hope their product is in the same catagory if not better than Ritter, Aaen, or Hot Seat.

I have the hotseat pipe and clutch kit. It is pretty much dead even with a 400ex but I still win on a drag because I get them off the line. They dont' pull on me unless it isn't stock. The bad thing is, the scrambler should be like this from stock. They are so detuned it unreal.

Someone had mentioned larger carb. I can't remember and I dont' have my book anymore(lost in the move), what size is the stock carb of the scram 400 4x4? I have a brand new carb for an 87' CR500 motor laying around. Do you think it would work?
