I did not use a fuse. It may not be a bad idea though.

I read in another post that you should buy a relay. Is this true? Or can you just hook it straigt up to the override button? Give us the step by step...

Default horn

All I did was splice into the purple wire that comes from the override button. The purple wire has power to it when the button is pushed in, that way the override button could be used for the horn. Then I just bolted the horn to the frame under the front cowl and conected the power wire (spliced into the purple wire) and the ground wire (connected to the mounting bracket) to the horn. All I can tell you is BE CAREFUL!!! Horns draw a bunch of power and could easily melt your button. Use a relay or you could end up being the next Captain Zip-Kapow!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
