400L counter balancer....... override button

Default 400L counter balancer....... override button

Where is the drain plug on the counter balancer..? What should I refill it with.

Whats the over ride button for?

The counter balance drain is under the exhaust to the right of the motor mount in the front. Fill it with about 70cc (until it reads full) of 10w30 motor oil.

The over ride button will give you full power in reverse if you push it and hold it. If not it will act like a govenor.

The drain is under the bottom radiator hose. I just looked on my pics.

the counterbalancer drain plug is right next to the starter, at least according to my book, and the book also says to use 3-1/4 oz of 10w30 to refill it. I did my 94 400l 4X4 a couple of years ago and it was full of a silver mucky liquid so I ran a couple quarts of oil through it to flush it out. The override button is for when you're in reverse, it won't let you take off too fast and go over the handlebars unless you push the button. Also on my atv it will not go into AWD in reverse unless you hit this button.
