I bought the rig about a month ago used. The guy had it stored in an unheated garage all winter without starting it up here in AK where this last winter was in the negatev 40s. Anyways he brings it out and it fires right up. Drive it 3 seperate times and on the third time I notice my trip then speedo, then lights all go out. Turn the machine off and it wont start--pull start it and it works. Fill the battery with distilled water and trickle charge it and everythings good to go. Ride it a few times---now yesterday does the same thing as 2 weeks ago. Is this a battery or some other problem? Where to you all recommend the battery from---dealer or Walmart etc..? Also I broke my pull start handle from the pull cord---can you get a new one of these at the dealer?----thanks for all the help--Dave

 

Sounds like the battery was frozen...its now junk....and yes u can get another pull handel from the dealer.....or as the same with the battery....a good aftermarket one will be a LOT cheaper and just as good...let us know how that works....PS I was in AK last nov. a great place...

 

Thanks for the help--yep it was definetly the battery---the stealer told me thier interstate are better than the everlast Walmart sells--I think Ill agree with them this time---Dave
