The $500 Sportsman question.....
Some of the guys I ride with refuse to get the 600/700 for 2 reasons.
1. no recoil starter for backup. These guys do alot of 2-3day rides in the hi desert.
2. Less fuel economy. The 500 gets better gas milage.
I don't think you would loose anything with the 500 unless you are the type that needs(wants) the biggest baddest unit around!!!
I love my 400 but would have taken the 500 over it if it would have been an option

The $500 Sportsman question.....
I never knew the twins didn't have a back-up starter.....That could mean trouble!! Besides, even if it had trouble pushing snow, the old man still has a snowblower. I went into a dealership friday after work (only day I get out before 5pm) and they had a bunch of SP's, and they let the camo's go OTD for $6500, and regular colored 500's for around $6200. Without looking at it, the guy figured he could sell my Tblazer 250 for around $2000-$2200, although I still owe more than that on it. But that's ok, I'd only hafta throw in an extra grand or so.....Not bad for a new HO!!!!
Thanks again, fellas!!
