either do i, i havnt tried it on my pred but i heard the pred doesnt like it

.....REALLY don't like this. Polaris "says" this is the reason for the demise of the 03' trannys. I question that its the sole reason, but it certainly does contribute...... Don't do it.

Why don't you just try and "speed shift". Like I used to do in my old Trans Am, keep the throttle wide open when you depress the clutch and shift, just make sure you do it fast so you won't blow it up or bounce of the the rev limiter. I could speed shift my '83 Trans Am with 305 and 5 speed and even bark the 3-4 shift at 80 mph and run a low to mid 14 second quarter with the car all stock.

p.s. you should practice at this before you run it full tilt.

THis is where they all go WRONG. You don't keep on the gas and shift!!!! You blip the gas just a bit to release the forward pressure on the gears, just for a moment as you shift, like just for milliseconds and just enough to release the pressure. It is very simple! You WILL damage your tranny or any tranny if you don't blip the gas...
