Default Problems with throttle safety switch

The ATV is a 92 4x4 250cc two stroke single cylinder.
The throttle is not hanging up and nother looks wrong. What are the tricks to adjust this switch.
When micro switch is pushed in what tell the system the cable is hung up?

Default Problems with throttle safety switch

I have a TrailBlazer 250 and it's got a safety switch on the thottle. I was having problem setting my idle and found there was just enough slack in my throttle cable to allow the switch to come open at idle. This must retard the ignition or something in case the throttle does get stuck open and you let off the thumb lever, which lets the switch come open.

If I hold my finger on the switch to keep the slack out of it, it works great. I'm thinking I have a stretched cable or something because I adjusted it all the way out which helped some, but it wasn't enough...
