who's had their flywheel lighten ? Was it worth it? how much power did you gain ? What was the down fall to this? Thanks

 

Hey sand45, I had mine lighten and it does make a lot of diff. With the vortex cdi box i can hit rev limit in top gear. i allso have other goodies on my predator. rath did a good job.

Hey Propolaris, did you loose any low end?

 

I dont beleave i lost any low end, it feels stronger to me on bottom, my buddy has a ds with some mods and it was close before, now i stomp him. im not gonna argue with any body about that, its the truth.

 

I did it on my Scram 400, and it made a huge difference also, I just wondered what diff. it would make on a manual tranny. Some say that you loose bottom end, but I always thought they were mistaken. Adding weight to the flywheel is supposed to add to the bottom end. This is not the case on a CVT. Glad to here that you had good results!
