need help replacing rear bearings

Default need help replacing rear bearings

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] hello could anyone help me i went to replace my rear bearings on my 2000 trail boss 325 2 wheele drive. now im stuck. i can not get to the axle nuts. where do i go from here? here are some pics of where im at now.

welcome to the forums..in one of the pics,it looked like you had the snaprings off?once the clips are off those aluminum collars have to be removed,then the nuts are right there.. go here

thats what i thought. but that sounds easer than it is are they supose to slid right off? because i pryed alot, maybe to much and they wont move. the one on the right will slid back and forth about 1/8 inch and thats all.

they usually just slide off,i've had one be stubborn before,i hit it with a rubber mallet and it came off..

well this one is being really stubborn because i hit it with a hammer, pryed it with a pry bar and no-thing. i all most tour up other parts any one have any idies? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

clamp a pair of visegrip on it,then hammer on them..
