I have a 99 sp500, went to start the bike yesterday and the starter would turn but it would not crank the engine,it will pull start.I have changed the starter,battery,and the selenoid. Has anyone experinced this problem before or maybe knows what my problem maybe? thanxs

 

Starter drive is probably stuck. Remove from starter and take off snap ring and pull gear from shaft, clean and lube.

 

Could be the bendix I don not know if that is the same as a starter drive or not. Just my 2 cents
