YES another problem!!!
well i dont no if u guys know about my first time wen i had the bearing in the axle carrier blow but something like this has happeaned again but this time the bearings were fine the seals were sealed real tight and nice but there was some play in the axle so i decided to give it a look since i was changing the sprockets anyway. well i narrowed it down to two things...the axle carrier is all chipped on the inside(like where the bearing sits is all cut up and so isnt the inside walls. also im not sure what its called but on the axle there is like a block that makes it so the axle can only go one way and this has like 2 grooves in it and has a groove into the side of it. could these be why its broked? i was finding small metal chips in all the grease. someone help!!

If the chips are aluminum then I'd say your cup is spinning in the bearing carrier. If this is the case you may need a new carrier if the new cup will not fit tightly. If the chips are steel then it is definitely bearing failure. Anytime you replace the bearing (cone is the actual term for the component of a roller bearing that has the cage and rollers) the cup (the component of the roller bearing that has a straight O.D. and a tapered I.D.) should also be replaced. Both components are equally important so replacing one without the other is not a good idea. It's also a good idea to use loctite 609 on the O.D. of the cup. 609 is a retaining compound that will prevent the cup from spinning in the bearing carrier. Be sure not to over tighten the nut. The bearings should be loose enough to spin with some resistance but not so loose that you have more a .007 end play. Get yourself two Timken bearing assemblies L68149 install them and grease the carrier fitting after every ride and you'll be good to go. Here's a link to some good info.
