Right click on the link, choose "Save Link Target As", when the "save as" dialog box opens, look at the bottom where it says "save as type". if it shows text file that's why you get the gibberish if you just click the link. Change that to "all files" and hit save. Then after it's downloaded, you can either hit "launch file" in the transfer dialog box or simply go to the folder where you saved it and click on it. Your Windows Media Player should automatically open and play it. (This is how it works in Netscape - haven't used IE)
