Default Sportsman 500 H.O tires are no good

Hey everyone.

Finally got my sportsman last weekend. what a blast for about the first 20 mins.
then found out i had a flat. not too sure what happened but there is a hole on the SIDE of the rear tire. looks like maybe a tree branch or a sharp rock.
did a little patch job with some tire plugs it is running but would rather change them if they are this weak.

anyone know of a good replacement tire. don't want the same thing to happen again.

Thanks Again.
Eddie

I have the badland tire, although I think they look femanine, they are holding up well. I have 950 miles on mine with 90% being road riding, they show very little wear. I want more aggressive tires for mudding thiough. Your problem could have happened with any tire. Just something that happened. The first time I took my 4x4 out I busted a axel boot. Things happen. I'm a big fan of the good year rawhides, now they have a new tire that has run flat capibilities. look at the new "military vehicle" on polaris's site.

I'd imagine they are pricey, but you know the saying " being able to get back to your truck with a flat - PRICELESS"
