i just bought a k&n air filter and ordered a white bros E-series silencer for my scrambler but i dont have a clutch kit for it. will i still see noticible performance gains w/out a clutch kit installed?

Who did you get the silenser from I'm thinking about one and tried rocky mtn atv and they said they were discontinued

 

i didn't have a clutch kit when i bored mine .50 over. i already had a jet kit and pipe, but after i bored it i could tell a difference, that stock clutch didn't last long.

 

i ordered mine through a dealer

 

i put an e-series on my old 500 and was very dissapointed.

 

If you arent going to get a complete clutch kit get you a white or green Polaris primary spring and set the secondary at 2-2 and you will be fine.Actually a high engament kit will loose you some of the bottom end grunt the 500HO is known for.If you want to see how a good running Scrammy is set up check my sig.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
