I have read somewhere that there is a big problem with the 2000 Scramblers Tie Rod Ends. They said that they break easily, and it is a big concern. Has anyone else heard about this, or is this just a rare occurrence??? -Neil

They don't break, I guess they make the steering feels loose but it is really no danger or anything like that.

I think it was the pre-2000 models. If your bike has the round, brass looking ends, you're in trouble. If they are the ones totally sealed with a rubber boot, they last a little longer.
