Clutching?
#1
I was wondering how big of a difference a hotseat performance hypershift clutch kit for a $190 would make as compared to just a harder primary spring like the red one for only $25. It is for my trailblazer 250. I'm looking to add a little more get up and go power as well as improving top end torque and maybe save myself some money if there is not a big difference for other upgrades. I have yet to buy a power pipe.

the spring salone wont make as big of a difference but it will make a good deal of a difference but for a stock trailblazer with stock weights the red is way to much spring. call rick ritter and ask him what he thinks, u could also get a secondary and a set of weights for not very much. scott

whatever you do, DONT buy the HSP pipe until you do your homework. i think that there are other companies out there that make better power producing pipes for the 2 strokes.
i have a buddy that bought the full hot seat setup for the 250 and he was severely disappointed. he had lost all bottom end power! we swapped back to the stock pipe to see if it made a difference and it did! BOOM! there was the bottom end! wheelies!!!! now HSP wont take the pipe back. go figger.
he coulda bin better off just buying the clutch kit and calling it good.
of course the k&n air filter is always a good thing. so do that for sure!!
i think i would trust ritter with a good pipe. but do some checking around before you invest the money.
just my 2 cents

oh ya, on a fourstroke in some cases u can get away with it and only lose power but not rejeting on a twostroke will result in burnt up or stuck piston rigns which equals low compresion which equals low chances of starting

of course, thats usually part of the kit. but fer some reason the combinations didnt work out.
stick with the companies that do the research and development, and will bacik it up.
Ritter so far has proven to be the most knowledgable and will back it up with FRIENDLY cutomer service.
as far as HSP, you can call em up and they cant really offer you any technical assistance. all they want to do is tell you that the reason you are experiencing difficulties is because you havent bought all their other parts yet. pretty soon you have spent all your money on all their stuff and you still arent happy.
