Default Front Diff on Sportsman

I was riding today and decided to stop for gas and noticed my front diff was leaking fluid all over the place.?? I was driving 50 for along time probably 10 miles....could it have just over heated??

No won't over heat and blow oil. Clean it good and see where the oil is coming from....

Default Front Diff on Sportsman

Oh yeah......took it to the shop, guess it wasn't my front diff......everything is full and nothing is leaking so I don't know where the hell it was coming from. Looked like my front diff to me, the back half was soaked and it looked like it had been spraying back towards the motor.

Default Front Diff on Sportsman

I had the same problem on the exact same machine. It would only do it after a good run down the Soo Line. Bristow's in St. Cloud put on a new radiator cap and the cap to the over flow bottle and it fixed the problem. Anti-freeze sometimes has a greasy/oily look to it especially when it's mix with a little dirt.
