I bought a set of hand warmers from Rocky Mountain ATV. It is the type that wrap around the handle bars. I am wanting to hook it up so that it is tied into the ignition switch. When the key is off there is no power and when the key is on there is power. Does anyone know what color of wire is for the ignition switch on a 04.5 sportsman 500HO?

A good place to find a keyed hot and ground, is the accessory plug. Its already fused, and is usually easy to get at.

 

I believe on most Polaris, the ignition 'hot' is the 'orange/white' wire inside the headlamp pod....its the 'orange with white stripe'....
