Since I haven't been riding 20+ years like some of you guys I'd have to say:

Hills- 5
Trails - 6
Mud - 7
Sand - 5 (My 1st time riding was in the desert)

I don't have anywhere near 20 years in the saddle so I figure I have a lot left to learn.

40 years experience
Mud 6...I hate cleaning for 3 hours
Hills 8..if your not nervous going down..you haven't truly tested yourself going up!
Sand 8..25 years in Anza-Borrego desert ...lots of sand in NW Wisconsin!!..
Stump Jumping 6...going up and over downed trees in clear cut forested areas..need body english and a full skid plate!!
Trails 8...boring..but common sense and courtesy for others need to be #1 concern..
Preparation 8...nothing worse than some one who is always late, didn't bring the right clothes, gear, gas or not enough money. A real downer..

Colt77,
sorry you find this post ''Idiotic'.As you can see from all the responses, most folks are content to rate themselves.

Perhaps you'd be better off at your local ''Bingo Hall''?====Bill

Get a life Colt!

This is a great post with honest answers. We can't always post about brake pads, slipping belts and pipes!
