That's cool. It was just highly reccomended to me when I did mine cause it really helps when you have porting and you can still use 92 octane pump gas. When Bubba ported my wifes bike he asked me to have it bored after he ported it cause there's always the possibility of a slipped porting tool when grinding.

Got the 400
I have to agree with scramblered, a 230 sounds too small. With colder weather rapidly approaching, I would step it up initially at least to a 260 and also make sure it has a bigger pilot in it like a 35. It also wouldnt hurt to lower the needle clip one notch too. Porting can slow the air flow and make the need for larger jets to compensate. Always better to go bigger then back down if need be.

Wife decided I am not porting it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] Said it was fast enough)But I am going to step up the main to a 240 that is what I ran with my Aaen torquer and this pipe seems to be alot like that one.Hope to get it together before the weekend.I will do a pug check after it is together.
