Default trailboss 330 clutching??

I was wondering......... are the spring/weight combo's the same between a 04 scrambler and 04 trailboss? I was thinking that since I have the H.S.P. clutch set up on my scrambler would it make a difference installing my "old" stock springs/weights in my girlfriends "boss". Also setting the "boss" to the 2-2 secondary setting. Would this make a difference? It seems to need a little more "go" to it. Thanks for all the help.

I have no idea what the stock clutch setup on the Boss is. But, if you feel like experimenting, then give it a shot. It wont hurt anything. I would venture to say that the stock clutch setup on the scram is a little more aggressive than the boss. Give it a shot.

Hey Paul,

Give Rick a call at RCR. I have the 03 Trail Boss and got the Red EPI primary spring ( $20.) from Rick. I ride all conditions and am very pleased.

ftwflh is prob. right about the white too. See what Rick says about the type of riding you do and springs. Mention the white and the EPI red. Hey, if you can handle the $'s, go for an RCR stage one kit. Prob. < $300.
