Was it a noticeable difference? I am going to be porting the heads on my Harley this winter during the rebuild and was considering pulling the head of the scram and cleaning up the ports some if it was worth it.

I don't think porting just the head will give much as far as seat of the pants feel but if you where to throw a cam at it at the same time then you might notice more by the seat of your pants feel.
I'm thinking maybe just 1-2hp gain with the head porting. So depending on how much thay want to charge you for the porting and if you planned on complementing the port job with other mods then i might think about doing it.

Always those hard decesions to make , I'm happy with my upgrades thru aaen, i wouldn't say it was simple bolt on and go, i had to do a little tweaking to get it running the way it is now. But definatly a big step above stock. Good Luck.

I have a modded predator 580 bb. I have more fun with the scrambler in the woods and mud compare to riding top speeds of 90 mph on the flat top on my preddy. I'm looking at upgrading from 25'' mudzilla's and going to 28'' or the highland outlaws 29.5. I had alot of axle problems. Broke 4 stock ones so far. Going to upgrade to aftermarket ones that can handle the abuse. I've not yet put in the low range tranny, I do have the clutch setup with a hpd heavy duty button kit and a silver/blue secondary spring. 58 gram weights and a yellow primary spring. A helix from a sportsman 400 44/36 degree, were the scrambler stocker is a straight 40 degree. Lost alot of topend speed with the setup, but I plowed snow with it all winter and no belt slip. I've also been looking at the 628cc kit from FST to finish off my build. Biggers better, more power is alway welcome too!
