Sorry this is a bit off the subject (lots of posters seem to have lifts though), but I bought a new 2000 dakota with a 4.7 V8 in Jan. I've been thinking about lifting it up a little bit - but have no idea how much to go or how much it would be (first truck). Basically, I'd like a subtle lift - something that doesn't affect handling (for the worse) but gives the truck a nice clean look (maybe a 2" lift?). I imagine I will compliment it with a nice, fatter tire. I just don't have a clue - any suggestions would be great - or helpful websites.

We get allot of snow up here. It will be hard to beat my Pathfinder in the snow. From january till march my Pathfinder pretty much stay in 4 wheel drive all the time, has to. only the very main roads get taken care of and then it is hard for the plow trucks to keep up with the snow and ice. so snow perfomance is a must for me.
