Polaris Sportsman 700 Blowing Plugs!!HELP!
I don't abuse my machine, but have been running it at over 50 mph average of 40 mph on dirt roads in eastern maine. It has been a great machine, but recently I had a plug fowl and I thought it was a carborator problem. When I brought it to the garage I was told it was a plug wire off, so he replaced the plugs put some gas treatment in it and said it ran fine. I was 60 miles into the woods on a 80 mile trip when I started to hear which I thought it was an exhaust leak. I stopped an thought it was a rock in the exhaust spring, but nothing so I continued on, the sound stopped so I thought the rock must have cleared. about 20 minutes later when descending down a hill my left plug blew out, the only thing that didn't happen was a gas tank didnt explode..So have I ruinned the engine, why did this happen?
