I have been pondering this question for awhile, since this was their 50th anniversity and they made all these changes. I think they should concentrate on the magnums and scrambler for next year, as they need some desperate changes. I would also like to see them try to make the sp's handle like the rincon.

How about just making the existing line lighter and more powerful?

Polaris is in dire need of a scrambler makeover. They have the market cornered with the only real sport oriented 4x4. If they could make them better and more appealing they would be stealing a lot of sport quad sales. This type of quad is the most requested in enthusiast circles.

Maddog56,
you make a good point that they are too heavy. If you lowered the weight, it would have a big impact on the performance of the 4-wheelers. One big factor in why they are so heavy is the square-tube frames. Everyone else uses round-tube frames which are a lot lighter. Using more aluminum wouldn't hurt either. Can you imagine how much quicker they would be if they took 50-70lbs off the sp's,scrambler, and magnum. This would be possible if they really put an effort in to make them lighter.

The EFI's are stealing sales from the rest of the line. Many people are buying more machine than they really want to get EFI.
If Polaris wants to sell a ton of Sportman 500 HO's then build it as a 500 HO EFI.
