I think some of you (not all, by any means) should read a post in it's entirety before you respond. I clearly stated some facts they were overlooked.
Quote 1:
Quote 2:
All I am saying is that both of these machines (no discredit to those machines I haven't had personal experience with... AT ALL!!) are incredible. Both have strong points and both have weak points. I love them both because they are different. Each one fills a void the other can't. Additionally, there are strong points to all of the machines available today. If there weren't, they would not exist. So, in short, relax. I'm not playing favorites, just stating facts that can be proven.
To watz:
There are, indeed, major differences between the 2 machines, as I stated several times. I just don't like the fact thet people bash based on absolutely nothing but a preference in brand. How rediculous? The point of what I wrote was not to discredit any brand but to show that you can state the strong points of any machine. Even my uncle's Kodiac 450 has strong points (agility) that none of my machines can duplicate. (Oh, yes, Mudzillas on the way for the 800 also. Love those treads, and hopefully we don't have a tire war now, too.) Facts, not opinions.
Quote 1:
BUT, I have 27" Mudzillas on the Rincon and just the factory treads on the 800EFI
The Rincon has the advantage in the mud because of the tires.

Geezzz!!
You Polaris owners are just as bad as the Honda owners. Thinking that their Quad (brand) is superior to the other...All my buddy's ride Rincon's..and that all I hear . how crappy my polaris is....even though I hang right in thier with them ...
As far as "mud"...How easyly you guys define this.... here in GA. the ruts caused by big tires excessive traffic...will cause you to Bottom out...And I don't care how much Power you have or how big your tires are...if See-sawing on a rut...your not going any where.....no matter if you have a Honda or Polaris.
As far a the drag....My buddies Rincon are fast...the kick my Sp 600...by 6-8 atv lengths....course I'm a big guy... so I slow it down a lot ....lol.....
the "LOW GEAR" issue that Rincons have....BS....I rode my buddies 2004 Rincon....and that thing has plenty of low end....it will easyly flip over from a dead stop.....just dont have ant low gear for climbing and desending down hills....
They are both great machines ...I think!!

Well actually the 500 H.O's were designed to go faster than the 600's...reason being that the 600 was made as a torque monster...So really if you bought a 600 you need it for reasons other than drag racing...

Ya when my dealer told me about that it made a lot of sense bc my friends 500 h.o (when we were stock) was just a step faster in 2x4...but when we dragged in deep snow or mud in 4x4 i would walk away from him...and this obviously supports that statement...but i prefer more torque than speed...i didn't buy a 750 lbs bike to go fast obviously...althought it is fun...
