was it lean or rich from the fac.should i do a plug check on my ho when i get it?what determines the jetting for a paticullar bike say the sp500?

It was too rich for this altitude. Have a feeling they made "em fatter because of a buliton that came out a while back that said to riching them up for sluggish performance.

If you can get the 2000 lb. warn with a new one, I would go ahead and trade off the 2500. If the guy doesn't know about the winch, just take it off. If he tries to talk you down, tell him that you will come off a little maybe, but without the winch. Just depends on how quick you are to sell it. Consider what you would get on a trade in and figure what you need from there. I would sell it if I were you, but then again, I don't know how many miles it has or what condition it is in. I also don't know how long you've had it for sale and how many people might be interested. If you think of what somebody could get a new 2000 for right now, then you can kind of justify what they would consider a good price on a 99.
