My xped shifter is sticking in the down position post down shifting, is this due to clutch adjustment? Also does any one know how to adjust it using the screw under the little black cover.

The clutch probaly needs to be adjusted. The adjustment does affect the height of the shifter. Clutch adjustment as quoted from Polaris shop manual.

1. Turn engine off.
2. Remove protective cover to access adjuster screw.
3. Loosen lock nut.
4. Turn adjuster screw out (counter clockwise) until resistance is felt.
5. Turn screw in (clockwise) 1/8 - 1/4 turn.
6. Hold the screw in position and tighten the lock nut securely.
