All I have to say is I like the idea of being conncedered the underdog when out on my Polaris. It is even better on the MX track raceing an im finshing in the top five ever race.An this is on a 95 Trail Blazer 250. Im hoping to find some other atv's to ride with an listen to what they have to say an then I will ask they to prove it to me. I trail ride on my 98 Scrambler 400 4X4 an my friend has the same. He will not buy another Polaris he had lots of problems with his that cost him lots of $$$ but when I ask him what would he get that he thought would run like we do an he can't figure out what to get. So be happy with the underdog im having a blast beating 400ex's on the track
95 Trail Blazer Racer 265lbs (so much for heavy)

sp500 if you ever put your butt on a harley you wouldn't say a thing about the price.you get what you pay for.i had one of those water cooled hondas in the early 80s.it was junk more time in the shop than on the road.now i have a hog hats been around for 14 years and it is great. i also ride a '96 425 magnum4x4 for two reasons it is AMERICAN MADE and is simple to do the basic work on.not to mention that it has pulled out all my buddies with gizzlys , ranchers and any thing else.oh by the way i bet i have been riding atv s and bikes longer than you have beenn around.

ftwflh,
I have "put my butt" on a Harley, several times. I even almost bought one once, if it hadn't been for the nearly year long wait to get it I'd probably be riding it now. In the mean time I found a bike I liked better for less money and only had to wait 2 weeks to get the color I wanted. I do all the maintenance and repairs on everything I own too. BTW, there is no such thing as "American made" anymore, including your Harley, our Polaris ATV's and every car on the road. American assembled maybe, but not 100% American made. Not sure about your 425 but the SP500 engines are made by Fuji Heavy Industries, the same company that builds Subarus. If you took the Japanese parts off that Harley you'd have to push it. I don't like it any more than you do, but that's the way our global economy works. Oh yeah, if you've been riding longer than I've been around you must be one old son-of-a-gun . Spending those social security checks to keep your toy's in good running condition I hope.
