actually that is not what the clutch is... there are 2 clutches and they are the moving clutches not the plate clutches. i would estimate the clutches last about 5 to 10 belt changes before they get worn and need a rebuild or to get replaced

They use the same type that snowmobiles use if you have ever seen that type.

 

my 99 on its 3rd belt 2,500 miles lots of muddin and plowin always have a spare with you and the tools to change it, its better than towing back to camp.
