Default 05 700 efi problem

dealer called today and said the drive belt was shredded and that was the only problem with my atv. dosent make sense to me. no water or mud in belt housing. he said caused from strain being on belt like from getting stuck or gunning throttle from a dead stop. i say that is not what caused the belt to shred. what i heard didnt sound like that.i beleive something locked up and caused it to shred.i asked if they checked everything else out and he said he did and it was all fine. i guess ill find out when i pick it up. im going to post a new topic about the belt now and see what kind of input i can get on it.
