improvements

Going Virtical, thanks for the tip. I'll have to try ArmorAll. I've been using Plexus (that's what my dealer said works best- they use it on their stock cars). It makes the plastic shine real good but it doesn't hide any scratches.

is there a choice of gearing for the alternator on these machines? A change of one or two teeth would fix the draining of the battery at idle. I was wondering about this because of the current draw of winches and lights (I don't have a pull start on my 700)
A pull start with a compression release of some kind would be great, or a kick start (kind of an old school idea I know)
A better tool kit from the factory, at least include a spanner wrench to adjust the rear shocks.
After spending 7K on a toy....how about a decent air gauge for tires......damn you can get digital for $9, what is that stick thing...(I am 0 for 2...neither of mine worked anyway)
A battery voltage meter on the POD.
A rear brake pedal that worked (as earlier mentioned)
A gas gauge that worked.

My ideas where the Scrambler needs to be improved:
-New redesigned stronger, lighter chassis
-Factory speedo with gauge cluster
-Duel a-arm front suspension with FOX shocks all around
-Factory aluminum rims
-Wider stance
-Big bore EFI motor with duel exhaust
-Low range tranny with TEAM roller clutch standard
-Brighter factory lights
-Seperate front/rear brake system
-REAR BRAKES THAT ACTUALLY WORK!!! (they should utilize the Pred's brake system)
-And put the whole thing on a diet

Are you guys kidding me!!!!!! You missed the most basic engineering concept of all! Make the damn things easier to work on!!!! I have never seen anything that is more difficult to work than my damn 4wlr. Hell, my old Fiat spider was easier to work on than this thing....

moving the rad to the rear would mean less air flow, which would mean the fan would be on all the time....noisey and a constant drain on the alternater/battery. I hate when that fan is on now .......those bombardier's are running thier fans nonstop...welll alot more, just open another can of worms.
I would like to see more metal around the floorboard area and better p-rotected cv boots. Then I'd like the old lady to get some better looking friends.......[shes slaping me already]

Removing some weight off of my 500 would be great. I would also like to see separate front/rear brakes, 4wheel ebs(w/o having to use the technique to get this), a stainless steel exhaust( the stock cast iron one is heavy and rusts easily), and thicker boots. A bigger alternator would be nice along with a larger gas tank.
For polaris machines in general- LESS WEIGHT(not including the predator)
- brushguard standard on all utility models
-larger alternator and gas tank on most models
-better clutching for most models
- better lighting on the magnums, scrambler, and atps
- separate front/rear brakes
-adjustable struts
