Default Sluggish on top end?

Need help. I have a 99 big boss that I just picked up from my local polaris dealer service shop. I had the needle and seat replaced in the carb and the choke adjusted. It was running rich before putting it into the shop. After test driving, it runs really good with a good idle but it seems very sluggish on the top end. It almost feels like it has some type of governing device on the carb. Is there anything that I can check or do to improve performance? Also could their be some other kind of problem?

What is the revlimiter, where is it at, and how do I check it?

I'm not a 100% sure that your 99 has one ... it's an electronic device that keeps you from over reving the engine.

You should check the repair manual.
