Default Help with front tire selection........PLEASE

I posted this once before a while back. I didn't get any good feedback so I am trying again. My 400L is in need for some front tires. They are stock Goodyears. 27 7 10's I think.....I have a set of MudLites on the rear. What should I get for the fronts. I DO TRAIL riding. So PLY is an issue I suppose. I need a set bad please help. If you didn't know my 400L is 2WD.

Thanks
Ryan

if you have the mudlites on the rear why wouldn't you put the mudlites on the front. I am getting ready to order my 27inch mudlites with the type 6 wheels and from all the posts/topics I've read I think I am going to go with the 9's on the front and the 12's on the rear.

From what I read it seems that the mud lites will take a lot for me to turn being I have a 2wd quad. Don't get me wrong. I would love to hear someone tell me otherwise. This thing already is a little hard to turn now. I replaced the steering bushings and everything. It is a 97 so maybe the steering geometry was improved in the following year bikes. It may just be the nature of the beast.
